Unafraid to use all of rock and roll's ingredients, Pillar to Post plays accessible roots rock blended with modern explorations similar to David Gray and the creative pop-composites of Fleetwood Mac or the Eagles. In 2004, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, singer/songwriter Brian Koenigsknecht (AM Static, Sad Ballad) and drummer Brad Frank (Willamena, Black Dog Recording Artists The Mertons) met when a mutual friend brought them together to record a few of Koenigsknechts songs for fun at his studio. Pleasantly surprised by the results, they recruited bassist/vocalist Jason Huber (AM Static, Nashville Recording Artist George Whittaker), Mike Fuerst (Knee Deep Shag, Corn Fed Girls) and Detroit guitarist Geoff Stockton (Atlantis Theory, Jacob Root) to form a full-time band. Pillar to post, an expression meaning to move from one predicament to another was chosen as a poke at their trepidation to begin another musical project despite their ages, mortgages, and domestic responsibilities. Their belief in the strength of the music was enough to overcome their caution and Pillar to Post was formed.

Recored at Brad Franks brother's new Detroit recording studio, Graymachine (www.graymachine.com), the band has just released their new CD Nowhere Left to Fall available at www.CDBaby.com/cd/pillartopost.
