Looking for raucous ways to pass their time in stagnant high school suburbia, four friends resolved to purchase cheap instruments, master them, then fill a small garage with screeching guitar rock. One tour, one album, and one member later, the band is still bird-dogging the next empty stage with their own brand of melodic moonshine. Previously known as Phonoluxe, they've been playing out of Nashville, Tennessee since 2006. Crashing your party across the universe and inviting you back to their place—-this is AVID GARDENER. Shows consist of giant glazed jams, clapping hands, drum machines, occasional screams, and plenty of wandering melodies.
