Hailing from the Faroe Islands, an isolated group of islands in the North Atlantic, BYAW's music reflects the country's dynamic nature. The 26-year-old manages to take the acoustic and tender, and intertwine it with modern rock elements. Catchy melodies embedded with soaring hooks and burning lyrics.



"I write my heart out when I write. And I play my music with passion. Sounds stupid and naive but it's the truth. To create something for others to enjoy is a great thing, I think" says the young songwriter.
