Jose and Ana started writing songs in 2000, released their first record, Migrante, in 2002, a second album called Everything Changes followed in 2004 and their third, The New World in 2006.



Ana was born in Tijuana, Mexico. Jose was born in Havana, Cuba. They met in San Francisco and will soon live in Los Angeles, Caliofrnia. They are on the Tijuana-based Static Discos label.



XLR8R magazine dubbed Pepito's second album "the future of electro pop." La Banda Elastica los llama dos de los "20 Artistas Vitales del Rock Latino."
