Phil also enjoys a successful acting and voiceover career with series regular roles on such television shows as City of Angels (CBS), Bob Patterson (ABC), and most recently in his role as art teacher, "Henry Preston", on the FOX hit, Boston Public. Phil is also currently the voice of all TV and radio commercials for the Carl's Jr./Hardee's restaurant chains, as well as Yamaha motorcycles and ATV’s, the World Of Warcraft video game, and countless promos for CBS, ABC, NBC, Adult Swim, and MSG.

Phil designs his own basses, and endorses and also plays Normandy Basses, GK Amps, D'Addario strings, MONO Cases, and Dunlop accessories exclusively."
