DESCRIPTION:
Paul Garisto, virtuoso drummer for the Psychedelic Furs, at a preliminary sound check, Aladdin Theater, Portland, Oregon 10/4/12. The opening shot shows a replacement Craviotto 6.5 x 14 snare drum in place, as Paul was having difficulties with his go-to Ludwig Black Beauty. He changes the snare side head on the BB, slips it on the stand, and all is well for the night's show. Note that, other than the snare, Paul tours with his vintage ebony 24-13-16-18 1960s/70s Rogers "Swivomatic" drums and hardware--true classics that sound as good today and are as reliable as they were forty years ago.
