Patrícia Vasconcelos

begins her career as a casting director in 1989. She signs a long list of national and foreign films, TV serials and programmes and well over one hundred TV commercials.

Films such as Sinais de Fogo (Luís Filipe Rocha), Mortinho por Chegar a Casa (Carlos Silva and George Sluizer), Adeus Pai (Luís Filipe Rocha), Tentação (Joaquim Leitão), Zona J (Leonel Vieira), Jaime and Os Imortais (António-Pedro Vasconcelos), La reine Margot (Patrice Chereau), Alice (Marco Martins) and O crime do Padre Amaro (Carlos Coelho da Silva).

TV productions such as SIC channel´s Telefilms, Amo-te Teresa, Facas e Anjos, Mustang, Alta Fidelidade, Lampião da Estrela, Aniversário, etc

Patrícia was also a guest professor of Casting Techniques at the Universidade Moderna, the Universidade Lusófona, the Oporto Academia Contemporânea do Espectáculo and at several Model agencies.

In the summer of 2000 she felt motivated to go further and organize the Act workshops that included teaching actors technical skills for film and TV. She is a co-founder of ACT with Elsa Valentim in 2001.



After the experience as a jazz singer at the film Os Imortais, directed by her father António-Pedro Vasconcelos, she starts having voice lessons at the Hot Club Portugal with the teacher Joana Rios who stimulates her to begin her dream, singing Since May of 2006 she is the jingle's voice of Marginal Radio (98.1 FM).
