PatoPooh - Deh Din Poik

The 24 year old has a reputation that bares no relation to his young age. In a short period of time, lyrical and musical talent have contributed to bringing forth a new wonder child to the Swedish hip hop and r’n’b scene. Pato Pooh delivers without disappointing. The cunning performer and word twisting songwriter has made a name for himself that has opened up eyes all over.



The bright stages and the important cities of Sweden have seen the likes of him. He has won several competitions, such as Stockholm’s best -hip-hop/R&B 2002. Along with two friends, Pato Pooh won awards in both Malmoe and Stockholm; Malmoe’s best -hip-hop/R&B 2003 and Stockholm’s best-unsigned hip-hop/R&B 2003.



In 2004 he signed a publishing deal with Hard Money publishing as a songwriter. He wrote and helped pen many of the songs in fellow artist Ricky’s debut album “Unconditional Love”, which was released on May 25th of 2007. The debut single “Shes Royalty” was also featured on Swedish Channel 5s commercials for “Desperate Housewives”.



He successfully kicked off a music company called “Deh Din Poik Entertainment” in 2006 together with David “Dawouid” Gerges. Their main focus is to write and produce for artists within all genres. Surpassing artistic barriers and breaking stereotypes and prejudice.

2008s street anthem “Ahbow!” did not only put Pato Pooh in a position where he is now considered as one of the hottest and most interesting new rappers in Scandinavia, but it also earned him the respect of his colleagues on the Nordic hip hop scene.



Pato Pooh managed to create hip hop history with the “Ahbow remix 1 & 2”, by not only gathering some of the hottest young rappers in the game today, but also several pioneers in Swedish hip hop. Fundamental artists in the Swedish hip hop scene, such as Ken Ring, Infinite Mass, Mc Tim, Lazee, Fille, Juan Havana, Sam-e and Ricky are just some of the guests in these two ground breaking remixes.



He is living proff that hard work pays off. His street album “The I Work Hard Chronicles” (2009) has set things in motion, anticipating the coming of his debut Album “SwaydishVillageAlley”.



Although he speaks Spanish and Swedish fluently he uses English as his language of choice and he will master it as he has through rap skills and ability to take advantage of being a songwriter. He definitely has a style, a flavor and a place in music that is undisputedly his own.
