MIGHTY MUSIC blue



Nacido en Girona, en 1980, empecé a escuchar música reggae siendo un quinceañero, especialmente tunes producidos en los años 60 y principios 70. El interés por esta música y mi pequeña colección de singles me acabó llevando hasta Raggattack Sound Station, del que fui miembro y selector desde casi sus inicios en 2003 hasta principios de 2009. Haber trabajado con sound system ha ampliado realmente mi catálogo de estilos favoritos, con especial interés en las producciones de rub-a-dub, deejays y digital de los 80 y 90, y sigue creciendo…



A principios de 2008, animado por mi entorno, me atreví a escribir alguna letra y a ponerle voz, en su mayoría sobre ritmos de producción digital y de la mano de Raggattack. Así empezaba un nuevo trabajo delante del micro como Mighty Pastak.



A principios de 2009 decidí andar mi propio camino. Entonces nació Mighty Music, más centrado en la producción de ritmos, por ahora creados digitalmente.

Born in Girona (1980, Spain) I start listening to reggae music being a teenager, especially those tunes made in the 60s and early 70s. Interest in reggae music and my little collection of 7 inches took me to Raggattack Sound Station, being a member and selector from almost the beginning in 2003 till early 2009. Working on a sound system has really enlarged my catalog of favorite styles, with special interest in rub-a-dub, deejays and 80s/90s digital productions, and still growing.



Early 2008, encouraged by my environment, I dared to write some lyrics and voice them, mostly on digital riddims and by the hand of Raggattack. So a new project started in front of the mic as Mighty Pastak.



Early 2009, I decided to walk my own path. Then Mighty Music was born, more focused in riddim production, for the time being digitally created.
