Parwana was a crazy 'spaz-rock' band from upstate NY. We played together from the summer of 2003 until roughly March of 2006. Our first show was at the BACC in Ballston Spa, NY in August of 2003 and our last show was 3 songs at 643 Myrtle ave in Albany, NY in March of 2006. There were a couple of line-up changes, tons of local shows, tons of weekends out of state and 3 tours that took us all over the east coast and midwest. It was a swell time and I think we'll all remember those times as being great fun and times in our life in which we really felt alive. Most of us still play music, and most of us still stay in touch and even play in new bands together. If you are so inclined feel free to check out Desperately Obvious and BEWARE! the Other Head of Science. Our full-length will still be for sale as long as we have copies of it, and our EP is probably available upon request. This site is still checked from time to time, but if we don't respond to your message, it's not because we are assholes. we just don't check it that often. Thanks a lot for your interest and thanks a ton to everyone who made those 3 years possible, please continue to support local and inventive music!

We were named Best New Band of 2005 by Metroland, read it here.
