One cannot mention Packy Lundholm without mentioning music in the same breath. His infatuation and devotion to the art reaches back to his very first memories. Out of a prodigious childhood as a fierce rock and jazz drummer Lundholm has steadily grown into one of Chicago's most in-demand multi-instrumentalists, as well as a clever songwriter, expressive vocalist, and intuitive producer.



Lundholm's songs are not particularly complex, but they convey a wide range of experiences and feelings. Within a set Packy serves up regret and redemption; fears of technology and our increasingly connected yet distant world; murderers with hearts of gold; and of course, hard partying and the joys, discoveries, and guilt it brings. The musical feel is vintage and classic, with roots in Brit pop and Americana, informed by an early '70s psychedelic aesthetic.
