Music has always been part of Pablo’s life. Already at an early age his skills as a percussionist were sought after all over Sweden and at 16 years he went on his first international tour. After more than 10 years in the Swedish Music Business he has worked with most of the country’s major stars – Jerry Williams, Bo Kaspers Orkester, Lisa Nilsson, Stephen Simmonds, Papa Dee, Dilba, Jennifer Brown, Jojje Wadenius, Lisa Ekdahl, Lill-Babs, Electric Banana Band and Jessica Folcker to name but a few. Pablo has also worked with International stars like Ricky Martin, Yusuf Islam (Cat Stevens), Chayenne and Enrique Iglesias.
When Pablo built his own recording studio this was the beginning for yet another dimension in his career, as a singer and a songwriter. When his friend Mendez called Pablo and asked him to write a follow up to Mendez’ hit “Razortongue” Pablo considered this for a while and then wrote a few bars which he sang to his girlfriend to see what she thought, she liked what she heard and so did Mendez – the song is called “Fiesta” and became an International hit. As Mendez and Pablo recorded the song together, this was the first time we got to hear Pablo’s amazing voice.
The next hit that Pablo wrote for Mendez was “Adrenaline” and the two performed it in the Swedish Eurovision Song Contest in 2002 they came in second just after “Never Let It Go” by Afrodite.
This leads to more and more people finding out about Pablo as a singer, percussionist and songwriter. Meta Bergkvist, producer for primetime national TV music show “Allsang pa Skansen”, calls Pablo to invite him to the programme. In July 2002 Pablo performs on the show together with Wyclef Jean, Helen Sjoholm among others – the ratings are sky high and the show is a huge success. In the Summer of 2003 pianist Robert Wells invites Pablo to join the “Rhapsody In Rock Stadium Tour” together with Lena Philipsson, Jerry Williams, LaGaylia Frazier and Johan Rheborg. Pablo performs his own songs and a duet with LaGaylia.
When Pablo performs with Jerry Williams in his sold out show “Jerka” as Storan in Gotenburg, he meets the producer Patrik Krall who offers Pablo the position as “musical sidekick” to Swedish superstar Barbro “Lill-Babs” Svensson in her upcoming show. The show is a huge hit and sells out in Gotenburg, Malmoe and Stockholm. Together with Barbro Pablo is invited back to “Allsang” in the summer of 2005. Pablo’s first own show premieres at Blue Moon Bar in Stockholm in May 2005, the audience loves the sparkling “Latin Flavour Show” and Pablo invites several prominient guest artists like Petter, Shirley Clamp, Papa Dee, Lill-Babs and many others.
In 2006 Pablo was selected as one of the artist to join the starting lineup in the Swedish Eurovision Song Contest 2006 with the song "La chica de la Copa" which he wrote together with Johan Ramström and Patrik Magnusson.
