Heavy and rough sounds embrace a raw and boundless alternative rock, swelled by acid atmospheres and simple electronics that define a fragile and hysterical journey through a hidden intimacy. Frequencies, words and lines indispensably connected to each other creating an harmonic ecosystem, where allusions and perceptions describe anxiety and alienation, self “distortion”, choosing dark, ironic and nonsense. All of this is “overock”.
After 1.000 copies of the EP “Acid sounds in a groove box” sold, after the great reviews from the media, after opening acts like Verdena, Petrol, Afterhours, Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti, Pitchshifter, GF93, distortion is the leit-motiv of the debut for these four guys from Turin. The band was born in the late 90s and their sound has been refined during the passing of years.
Warp It, produced by the new indie label from Florence Incipit Recordings and distributed worldwide by Plastic Head, has been produced by Daniele Landi, mixed by Benedict Frassinelli (Litfiba, Negrita, MauMau, Settevite, interno17, Bandabardò…), mastered by Davide Barbarulo from 20hz20khz studios, Naples. 10 tracks, 45 minutes of rage, frailty and obsession that cut through atmospheres, lyrics and graphics. Graphics are edited with care by the band and always considered expressive and communicative at the same artistic level.
