REVIEWSKerrang! Magazine

"The A&R men have missed a trick here. OutCryFire possess watertight riffing, military precise drumming and tonsil bothering vocals all wrapped up in the righteous power of metal!"Rock Sound Magazine "OutCryFire are a young band going places - and they're determined to redefine the Thrash approach in the process. They thrive on Pantera riffs, Lamb Of God attitude & Megadeth-style tight musicianship. The modern metal fan's modern British metal band"Metal Hammer Magazine

"Heavy Fucking Metal! A relentless barrage of monster metal: high speed, high intensity & highly likely to make you cry! Their live shows are 'energetic to say the least. Frontman Matt is a wide-eyed monster laughing & screeching into the faces of unsuspecting viewers. Check them out as soon as you can!"PlayMusic Magazine

WINNERS of THE BEST UNSIGNED METAL BAND Award 2006.

"OutCryFire are a 10-legged ultra heavy rock machine, with gravel in their throats & amps permanently welded to 11. This time next year everyone will know their name. With a band this loud, there's no avoiding them!"Rock Sound Magazine

"OutCryFire, with riffs bought from Satan himself, show that considerable underground natter about thier mosh-inducing mojo is more than justified."Kerrang! Magazine

"Injecting Pantera-esque riffing with polyrythmic shifts & compelling solos, OutCryFire dominate the stage like seasoned pros. Ones to watch in the future"Planet Loud.com "This is modern heavy metal in its purest form"Terrorizer Magazine "great double bass, guitar syncopation and vocals that switch from versatile trad metal to screamo in moments. Currently unsigned but probably not by the time you read this"Planet-Loud.com "Outcryfire are certainly deserving of the accolades they’re getting on the underground circuit. Creating a blistering cocktail of thrash and hardcore, the band bludgeon through their set whipping up the sort of metal tornado that will get fans of Machine Head and Pantera thrashing in the aisles. We expect big things from these guys in 2008"

BIOGRAPHYFormed late 2004,

From their inception, OutCryFire promptly went about hitting the road & gigging relentlessly, playing everywhere & anywhere brave enough to put them on.& in doing so have moulded themselves into a tight-as-fuck, 10 legged heavy metal monster. Their live shows becoming stuff of legend, proven by the abundance of glowing live reviews they've had so far in their (still relatively short) career.Drawing on influences such as Megadeth & Iron Maiden, through to Lamb of God & Meshuggah. OutCryFire serve up a mean array of heavy metal riffage, with thrash & hardcore sensibilities & (above all) downright pure power! They’ve gigged all over the country with some of today’s hottest metal acts. Including Sikth, 3 Inches Of Blood, Skindred, Clutch, Enter Shikari, Textures, Prong, Raging Speedhorn, Black Label Society, Send More Paramedics, Malefice, Exit Ten, The Blackout, Murder One, Mirimar Disaster, Sylosis, Architects, Eternal Lord, Mendeed & many more.In 2005 they were short-listed by Kerrang! Magazine as one of the ‘10 best unsigned bands in the country’.They were also awarded the title of ‘BEST UNSIGNED METAL BAND’ in PlayMusic Magazine’s 2006 Awards!AND. to top that, they were this year crowned WINNERS of the Hard Rock Hell 2007 Battle of the Bands!,where they were unanimously awarded top scores accross the board from the panel of swanky industry judges (including the Editors of Metal Hammer Magazine, Classic Rock Magazine & Slayer/Megadeth PR Duff Battye). And yet amazingly the band are STILL unsigned!Their first self-financed EP, ‘Ruination’, was released last year to critical acclaim.

& Now, the band are currently in the process of putting together their first full length album & hunting for the right label to put it out on.
