Tutto nasce da Stevie Jones che dopo anni passati ad arrangiare canzoni pop per soddisfare il mercato delle case discografiche interessate solo a successi tout court penalizzando la credibilità e la visione a lungo termine, ha deciso di immergersi in un progetto PRESTIGIOSO E SCHIETTO, guidato esclusivamente dal suo amore per il Funk, il Blues e la Soul Music soprattutto americana degli anni '60 e '70, non lesinando di sottolineare che fosse un antidoto per la musica di X-Factor. Lui detestava il principio di essere famosi per qualsiasi cosa, a prescindere, solo per il fatto di essere sul mercato e sapeva che voleva fare musica pura con musicisti maestri e intimi conoscitori del suono delle note. Con questi concetti in testa, Stevie Jones ha cercato i migliori musicisti Funk del mondo per realizzare l'album. Ci è notevolmente riuscito reclutando Steve Pearce (basso), Frankie Tontoh (batteria), Otha Smith (chitarra elettrica), Melvin Duffy (pedali e chitarra elettrica) e Andrew Murray (piano).
Non solo ognuno di loro ha suonato molti brani e album di successo, ma ha addirittura lavorato per qualche nome che farà sobbalzare dalla sedia.
