HIDDEN INTENTIONS

The ONE SHOT SUICIDE Story:

The mold of One Shot Suicide was started in the winter of 2005, with Morbius founder/guitarist Jason Carter and fellow Morbius Bassist Judd Raithel. Jason and Judd went on to form the band under the name Torn Between Anarchy.

After many auditions with drummers, they had called in Bryan Strahan from his former band Kings of Today. Many Auditions later going through vocalist they had found Jason Renter former vocalist/drummer of Liquid Conscience.

March of that year the band got started on writing, due to the bands debut show that was only a month away they found that time was no longer their friend. At that time, the band decided to change their name to Ending in Chaos. With their new name and an artillery of new songs, to and what seemed to be a grate start they had started to make their way.

The band would go on to play and have great success gaining an opening slot to open up for the band Nonpoint.

However, the band started to suffer from lack of practice, having to let go of their front man, they decided to move in the direction of music to a heavier form of metal.

After a few months of searching for a new front man they decided to bring in Mike Manuel former lead vocalist for Eye will. After having the band complete once again they decided to add a new element by bringing in a second guitarist by the name of Paolo de la Cruz, from the former band called Now Defunct 1D-LSD. Ending in Chaos finally had the line up complete.

The band decided then they would need a name that represented their journey of constant rebuilding.

ONE falls with one SHOT, the SUICIDE of one creates a way for the new paths to bring on new chances.

The band was then renamed as “One Shot Suicide” it would then go on to fit the trials that they had and had to face in the upcoming years. The name would go on to be a strong hold for their continued journey in to the future.

In December of 2006, One Shot Suicide released their self titled song as a single.

The band then went on writing some new material for their new sound. Once again, the band was faced with more turmoil having to let go yet another member, now realizing that the name that they had chosen was probably chosen for them.

In June of the year 2007, One Shot Suicide realized they needed to continue on their path to playing music. It was brought to their attention that Timmy Holland drummer from the former band Dancing for a Fix, was being called to fill the position as the drummer of O.S.S.

July of 2007 One Shot Suicide signed a year long contract with A&R Select, a promotions & marketing company based in North Hollywood, CA. Their debut album, “Redemption” was under way. Due to the band recent success, they were able to book a show with the Whisky a Go Go in Hollywood, CA on Halloween.

Days before the show at the Whisky in Hollywood Ca, One Shot Suicides front man decided to step down from the front man position leaving the band with no other option then to move on. They played the shows in LA with Judd Raithel Bass player to sand in as the front man, with Paolo de la Cruz as backing vocals.

In November of 2007 Bryan Darby lead singer from the former band named Captive8, was named as the new front man of One Shot Suicide.

The band then went on to write new songs moving forward the band then started playing many shows, one of the shows they opened up for world known band named Otep and many others.

For the next year One Shot Suicide played all over California moving fast they put out a five song demo Cd with their featured tracks Hidden intentions and Some Day.

In October of 2008, One Shot Suicide was nominated by Modesto Music Awards the (MAMA’S) that is located in the central valley, One Shot Suicide was voted to be the best hard rock band for 2008. Playing the award show, they found a new level of success and achievements.

Shortly after One Shot Suicide decided to take, a long needed brake putting the bands progress on hold for a while.

In August of 2010 after two long years and a long over due come back, all five original members came together to bring forth the long awaited return of One Shot Suicide.

This is for real, this is for life!!

Till the flesh tearith from our bones and our heart stops from bracing the stones-let there be no one left standing alone; for life is what we say ,if your life is what you trade, we welcome you here today.

Always for, but never yours
