The letters in OSF stand for Ober Sankt Fightas,
which is a wordplay referring to the local area the members are from.
Since about 2000 some members are independently producing and making Hip Hop and Reggae. After about 5 years of being addicted to the sound of Reggae Music,
OSF began to play the latest and greatest records for the people in late 2005.
At first, Father Diaz started off on his own. He played along the local sounds in Vienna and voiced some of his favorite tunes on Dubplate. 2006 was the year for Vibestah to join the sound and from now on to spin the records while Diaz is on the Mic.
Since then, OSF played almost all over Austria along with the finest Austrian Soundcrews and International Sounds like Black Kat, Robbo Ranx, Righteous Movements, General Palma etc.
In March 2007 OSF scored the second place in "Western Conference Clash" in Fieberbrunn, Tirol, against Full Squad (IT) and the winner Run Dem (AT).
In December 2007 OSF was declared Champion of the "Showdown Clash" in Vienna against Ironshirt Sound (AT) and Kiki Hi-Fi (AT).
In early 2008 OSF joined G-Spot in promoting the monthly regular event "Dancehall University" which is counted among the most successful Reggae/Dancehall regulars in Vienna. Since late 2008, OSF is monthly resident at "More Fyah Tuesday" at Volksgarten and resident of the "The Answer Hip Hop meets Dancehall" series. Since late 2008 OSF is one of the most-booked Sounds in Austria, playing in numerous locations in and around Vienna, such as WUK, Arena, Badeschiff, Clubschiff, The Loft, Volksgarten, U4, Café Leopold, Reigen, etc.
Consider OSF a sound that slowly grows, not one that comes and goes.
