Original Macca

Hello im "Macca" aka Paul Mcevoy from Birmingham. I started djing at the age of 17 and ive always been into garage and speed garage. At the age of 21 i finally mastered the art of mixing and started to sell mix tapes in 3 shades records. My first break was at a club called chip charlies at club platnum. One day i walked into a record shop and asked them if they had any speed garage the bloke behind the counter (dj snipes) asked me if i was a speed garage dj i told him yes and then he asked me if i wanted to play on silk city 106.8 fm so i said ok then. I became a silk city dj i was on there for 3 years where i got noticed by the listeners and club owners and got many



bookings and met other dj's. In 2003 me and Davey Boy decided to turn to production and we came up with "Macca and the Boy" (dont walk away) which was a big tune, still is now! I dont really dj no more and left silk city but i know if i did come back the doors always open for me! Im still into my productions, but have not made any new material but its on the cards.
