An opossum is a possum (which is part of the rats family). Its not really big and it is carrying the results of its sex drive in its little pouch.

By imagining to be an opossum we want to invite all our friends and further acquaintances - never mind if not famous and beautiful yet, but already making real big music - into our pouch. Come in, get comfortable and lets start growing

together.

Our little furry friend is a symbol for its genus very own variety, frugality and determination - always bearing in mind to be a little different from other rats.

To its own merit the opossum belongs to the oldest species still living on our planet. But surely during the good old times of the dinosaur survival has been way easier than today.

So here we are - small and cute at first glance - but really bitchy!

COMING UP ON OPSM as 12" VINYL & FILE:

OPSM 029 :: Daniel Kampf & Rico Henschel 'Rawphazer'

OPSM 030 :: Deo & Z-Man 'Disabled On The Dancefloor' [incl. Alejandro Vivanco Rmx]

OUT NOW as 12" VINYL:

OPSM 028 :: Alejandro Vivanco 'Foundation' [incl. Deepchild Remix]

Chilean Alejandro Vivanco presents an ep of symphonic house with percussive grooves, complimented with a twisted remix by Australian Rick „Blapmaster“ Bull aka Deepchild.

Foundation – Soaring vocal snippets over pianos, strings, and expanding synths accented by crisp claps make this an open-air favorite just in time for the end of summer.

Staying – Phased synths, marching hats, rolling percussion, strings, and steadily increasing pressure build the vibe for big rooms.

Foundation (Deepchild’s Teufelsberg Blapjack Remix) – Deepchild tears “Foundation” back to the bricks, with nasty claps, blaps, and sonic ornaments carefully scattered throughout this spacious remix. The synths are reconstructed in a more glitched style, with some crazy ghetto vocal samples for the freaks out there.

OUT NOW as 12" VINYL & FILE:

OPSM 027 :: 'Hands On Hits 1' Various OPSM artists remixed

Format:B 'Full House' touched by ALEJANDRO VIVANCO

Moritz Piske 'Real One' touched by EDU IMBERNON

Aeromaschine 'Poet In Disguise' treatened by MUTANT CLAN

With 'Hands On Hits', Opossum presents a powerful remix package featuring Alejandro Vivanco’s organic techno rework of the huge Format:B hit “Full House”, Edu Imbernon’s seething tech house stormer forged from Moritz Piske’s “Real One”, and Mutant Clan’s psychadelic, mind-bending treatment of Aeromaschine’s heavily supported “Poet In Disguise”.

We could make references to weaponry, but you should probably just rock these jams. Lock and load!

OUT NOW as FILE:

OPSM 026 :: Aeromaschine 'Poet In Disguise' [incl. Mutant Clan Rmx]

Some of you have already heard that if you go to the depths of Romania, you will find people who talk Swabian or some kind of Saxon.

Very strange, because if one hails from the middle of Transsylvania, people normally think that he must be a thief stealing hens - which has nothing to do with the well known German correctness - so this might be a reason why Alin is using this Aeromaschine artist name

Anyway, grown up in this bizarre melting pot called Vampire Europe, Aeromaschine has developed this special Siebenbuergen Rave style, which you can locate somewhere between the clean, German Deephouse and the aggressive Eastern bloc Tech.

Supported by a massive Cookie Monster Remix from the Mutant Clan, this release will find its way from East to West and back to Asia.

OUT NOW as LIMITED COLLECTORS ITEM:

'WHITE COLOURED VINYL IN A TOTEBAG' BIRTHDAY PACKAGE

OPSM 025 :: Opossum Posse 'Get OPSMized' - 5ive Years of OPSM

On their 25th release, Berlin based Opossum Recordings celebrate their 5ifths birthday!

This record brings you four brand new and groovy tracks from label boss Marcel Jochmann, early label protagonist Rico Henschel, Moritz Piske and label newcomer Daniel Kampf - and comes around in a comparable unusual packaging, using jute material which had its first appearance in the eighties eco movement, but now has come to class and is more and more getting used even in the fashion industry, the big ripper of the electronic movement.

We're gonna have a good night tonight. Let's celebrate, it's alright!
