Born and raised in Port-au-Prince, Haiti (Rue Bergerak). Onè Respè grew up with his family such as his aunt, uncle, grand ma and his cousins. Years later, he moved from Haiti to The United States(Boston MA) where he was registered and then enrolled into school at West Roxbury HS where he graduated then go to Bunker Hill CC to continue his learning. Onè Respè always had a passion for music. "Growing up in haiti my aunt made sure we attended church every sundays i remember going just to hear the choir sing my love fo music was strong and still is". One day while i was listening to da radio and i remember they was playing (se tifi ya ki kwit yon poul, poul la pete chodyè, poul la vole lale m' pap pale, m' pap koze) that's when it hit me so many thought start going inside my heard i took a pen, a piece of paper and i started writting before i knew it i wrote my first song. Ironic huh i didn't even know my mother but my first song was to her, thinking her for not having an abbortion. In 2004 i felt like i had to take the rap creole game to another level so i started participating in shows ( Island Pride, Russel Auditorium, YWCA, Brocton, New York, West Palm and many more). One year later Onè Respè drop his 1st mixtape(Rapoka Vol 1) witch was a success a few of the tracks on the mixtape had a lot of radio play ("male male" "Pa anmegdem" and "Almande de mwen"). One year after that Onè Respè drop his second mixtape (pawol granmoun) with hits tracks like "nou nan bazz la" "Zafè yo" "Vire jew gade deyè" etc. From this, Onè Respè gain a lot of exposure here in the united states and over seas. His music inspired alot of poeple when asked why u do music Onè Respè simply say " for my country". Influence by Koupe kloure, Ti Manno, Ansi de rose, Bob marley, Nas, Tupac and B I G. Onè Respè's music is bigger then life its self (a new genre of music for the haitian youth).
