Marsha Bryant professionally known as 'Poni' is a female Rapper and songwriter from London, United Kingdom. She is an outgoing good-humoured artist who is enthusiastic with a real passion and love for music. Poni has worked with some of Hip-Hop's finest . She recorded four Songs in Detroit, USA, Produced by Denaun Porter, 'Kon Artis' of D12 (Eminem & 50Cent producer) including ('Purple Hills' & 'P.I.M.P'), Songs Produced by Darius Harrison 'Deezle' who has also produced for Lil Wayne(including 'Lollipop' and 'Mrs Officer'), E Bass, Kookie from Norway, UK's Taz (and produced for Dizzee Rascal)
Poni has worked with great UK Artists like Giggs aka Hollow Man SN1, Ac and Terra, Manic, Sonji and Dyonne, Dizzy Rascal producer Taz, Surgical, J Moorez, Main Aim plus many more,
Her recent collaborations include a song called "Easy Money" with Lil Wayne released May/June 2009, Daminko, Chopper (from P.Diddys 'Making the Band'), 4ize and Kanye West & Kylie Minogue Producer Tommy D on BBC 3 TV show called 'Singing With The Enemy', November 2007. Some Performances Poni has done in the USA include 'Live' venue, Staten Island, St Vincents Hospital, NY with Opera Singer Martina Bruno & New York University and in the UK Major of London's Rise festival, venues & concerts.



Given the name Poni because she can "Ride Over Any Rhythm". Her style of Music is catchy and tantalising; she poses a creative difference in the world of Hip Hop/Pop Music with her British accent, slamming US style beats and musical style that blurs the lines of RnB & Reggae flavour. Her songs are filled with creative innovative concepts which are distinctive, thought provoking & also exciting, she set to be launched internationally.

At the tender age of 8, Poni was invited to perform to the hugely successful 80's group "Five Star", she has since been a Rising Star. Music has been the love of her life, she spent the majority of her time as a child and teenager Rapping, writing songs and playing Instruments, the Organ from the age of 4 and the Flute from the age of 10. At the age of 14 she went on to be the only female artist in a 7 man Rap Group called 'Dark Foundation' and given the name 'Poni' because she can 'Ride Any Rhythm'. Poni is now a Solo Artist and CEO of a Music Entertainment business called Desire Sounds Ltd. She has recorded an Album, shoot 3 Music Videos for her songs called 'Sit & Cry' & 'Sharp' which has been gathering pace internationally on cable networks in the UK, USA, Italy & Jamaica and she has been doing Radio tours and Shows. January 2009 Poni shot a Music Video for her single called 'Swagger' featuring US Rapper The Don Barak.
Poni's radio tours have included interviews on BBC London Radio Station & BBC Radio One with one of the UK's most profound international Hip-Hop DJ Tim Westwood who is also host of MTV's UK 'Pimp my ride'. Poni has had the pleasure of performing phenomenal sets at events including the Mayor of London's 'Rise Festival' other performances were by Common and The Wailers. Poni has performed as a support act for Dru Hill, ATL, Mof Def 'Rock Da Bells' Tour, after party, in France, performances at Deal Real, London ."One of the most important places to be seen and heard" (Evening Standard National Newspaper), plus many more
Poni has been featured on Channel 4 (UK National TV) Music Series called 'Musicool' (Part 1 & 2) where she worked with some of entertainments finest including Michael Jackson, Britney Spears & Prince Choreographer Sean Cheeseman. Most recently Poni has been on BBC 3 TV Music series called 'Singing With The Enemy', an Endemol production where she works with Kylie Minogue & Kanye West Producer Tommy D, Don Diva and a String Trio called Apollo Strings ( who performed 'Bleeding Love' with Leona Lewis for Children in need, UK). Poni is also an actress and won a Clive Dailey 'Best Actor 2008' Award. 2010, Poni's latest release is 'Whip It' album and a compilation CD called 'Everlasting'.
