This project is the result of two friends who lived together for 3 years, jamming together and pushing one another to expand. Well, after all this time, we finally did it. Everything you hear on this page is an experiment of sorts. This is a chance for the two of us to write and record music we have procrastinated on creating for some time.

NICK SOLLECITO:

-educated in all styles of music with a heavy focus on jazz and rock

-primary instrument: electric bass

-secondary instruments: upright bass, guitar, piano, drums, mandolin

-versed in music production programs: Cubase and Reason

-previous bands include: Of the Hour and Bradford Ave

-currently performs with: The Mike Bernier Trio

During his years with "Of the Hour," Nick began putting the bass aside at times to tweek his effects pedals & add keyboard parts to songs for textures and layers. During these years, he lived in a house with Jesse. The two of them would jam for hours discovering new sounds and pushing the boundaries of experimentation. In these years, Nick was able to find a medium which allowed him to use his knowledge of music and various instruments to create in one project.

JESSE LEACH:

-14 years experience performing in bands

-toured as a frontman for various acts

-founding member for one of metal's most well-known bands

-primary instrument: voice

-secondary instruments: guitar, bass, piano, drums

-previous bands include: Corrin, Nothing Stays Gold, Killswitch Engage

-currently performs with: Seemless (myspace.com/seemless)

While most of Jesse's experience is focused in metal, in 1999 experimentation began. "I bought a drum machine after hearing the album "Mezzanine" by "Massive Attack." After that it, was all over. I would spend half of my day with headphones on making beats and noises with a microphone and delay pedals. I was hooked. From that point on, in any moment I had to play different types of music, I would jump at the chance. I would freestyle with Mc's, get into drum circles, use my voice as an instrument with sounds. Any musician that would enter my house, I would entice them into going into my basement and to jam. It didn't matter what kind of music you played or what instrument. I was like a junkie who needed a fix and my drug was music. I had played and jammed with many people over the years, but every time Nick and I would jam we would always find a groove or pattern together. There was a synergy. We would always talk about doing a project "some day." So well, here it is!"

Thanks for taking the time to listen.

***Although "One of you" was created out of the love for music, we are currently interested getting in to: Soundtracks, Movie Scoring & various other projects to generate income & expand the horizon of what we are as professional musicians.
