One Life Productions is a record
One Life Productions is a recording studio in south-east London. We
have been running for nearly 4 years now and have gained a reputation for providing high quality recording,
mixing and mastering at a great price.
Our control room is spacious,
air-conditioned and is a really comfortable room to work in. We run the
latest Protools HD3 Accel system from Digidesign, which is the industry
standard and used by top studios and producers world wide. Our
investment in this system insures that our experienced engineers can
help you make the best possible recordings.
We have Marshall and Fender valve guitar amps, a 120W
bass amp and a fantastic Yamaha Custom maple drum-kit (all included in
the daily rate) to help you get a great sound in our two separate
recording areas:
The first is our live room, which at over 220 square
feet is well suited to band recording. This room is also air-conditioned
and has a video-link to a separate recording booth and the control room,
enabling bands to record in separate areas while still being able to see
and hear each other. The ability to setup 5 separate headphone mixes
allows each member of the band to hear themselves clearly.
Our second recording area is our booth, which at over
100 square feet is big enough to record a drum-kit in. It makes a great
vocal booth, and is also useful for guitar overdubs etc. It is
acoustically treated, air-conditioned and has a direct line-of-sight
with the control room as well as a video-link to the live room:
Some great microphones, various
pieces of software, a large collection of Protools TDM plugins,
some fantastic outboard equipment, synths and a sample
collection are all available to use for recording and mixing. We
get a discounted rate at various pro-audio hire companies for
clients requiring additional microphones / outboard equipment /
amps / musical instruments etc.
If you have specific ideas
about the sound you want then bring some commercial CDs
along with you as examples.
We love working with bands and will work with you to get the
best possible results within your budget / time restrictions
