Logan Sq., CHICAGO

"House ain't dead, hear me beatin' down your hood again." Pamp, Chicago's house music representative, is reclaiming his position in the music industry. While experiencing success in the late nineties with Underground Construction Music. Pamp and Da' Knox annihilated stages throughout the United States and Mexico solidifying their reputation as the hardest house performers ever constructed in Chicago, IL.

Pamp's first release, "Butta" (1996), was the foundation of his career. The "Butta" project quickly became the anthem that launched Pamp & Da Knox on stage with artists such as Keith Sweat, Genuine, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Freak Nasty, Bear Who?, Dj BamBam, Bad Boy Bill, Fast Eddie, George Lamond, Dj Funk, Dj Deeon, Luke, Dino Latino, White Knight, & Daryl Pandy. No one was prepared for the chain reaction. With minimal marketing and promotions, the faceless, Pamp rapidly became the spokesman for the house music industry.

In 1997, U.C. Music released Pamp's second track "Shake" which vibrated through speakers like an 8.08quake on the richter scale. At least, that's what it sounded and felt like when you heard the bass bumpin' out of rides in every major city. The phenom built up such a fan base that U.C. Music began preperations to complete a full length album. After Pamps third release. "Switch" (1998). his career came to an abrupt stop after the death of Andy "DJ Attack" Adams (owner of U.C. Music) -RIP.

Pamp & Da' Knox were left stranded on the industry's battlefield. Fans were left stuck, ears glued to the radio waiting to hear what happened to the group that brought energy to the stage. The group would never recover… but fate had different plans for Pamp. In 2006, Pamp was contacted by Spin Kidd of Beat Breakerz Inc. and offered an opportunity to restructure the house sound. The two agreed to collaborate on a remix project titled "BUCK NASTY" (available on download). In 2007, Pamp returned to the stage performing his classic tracks along with his latest projects featured on Bear Who?’s album THE BEATBOX. Pamp is featured on Bear Who?’s U-STEP (remixed by Derrick Carter, Davidson Ospina, Dirty Criminals, Angel Alanis, and Inland Knights), JUICY, and MY MOMMA THINKS UR CUTE (remixed by Dj Slugo).

Currently, Pamp is in the studio with BBZ completing his full length album. His first release "DEM SECRETS" is available for download (trackitdown.net). He is determined to pick up where he left off. giving his fans what they've long awaited for. FRESH MUSIC!
