‘Don’t feed the animals.’

A quote that sums up the experience to a tee, each round of applause is like a fresh sacrifice for this 4–piece, pack of lions. Guitarist Crooks is a dram, crossing between lead and rhythm each song takes a new direction under his commanding digits. This is no, one trick pony though, lead singer Paul gives you what you want with melodic style, adding the sweet to the sour, as it were, to the punk aggression that is un–leashed by the band. ‘It’s been so far so good’.

-surface unsigned festival review

OH MY GOD …These guys blew me away just incredible. The vocal harmonies could not have been better. Why these guys are not huge I can not explain.

- Russell - Red Light Runner

.One Day Elliott owned as per usual, so fucking tight. How they’re not vastly bigger is beyond me. Best working of the crowd I’ve seen from any “local” band and the singing fills me with envy…

- R Kane – Seven Year Kismet

.ODE… God do I love these guys! I don’t think I have ever seen them when they haven’t filled me with energy. Seriously they are better every show. Don’t see how they can be but they are.

.One day Elliot pulled out a fantastic set of post punk rock and roll, pulling 4 part vocal harmonies, acapella parts and ambitious chord stuctures. A real display that they know how to write songs, understand harmony and melody, the more ambitious concepts of pop song writing and stagecraft only honed through many, many gigs. Superb, and the first band for a long time to raise a lump to my throat because of the sheer joy of it.

- Live review from the Race Horse, Northampton

.One Day elliott as always brought the house down and had a great following tonight. They were as tight as always and a pleasure to behold.

- Braindamaged Promotions

.One Day Elliott play melodic punk with big hooks and also display a degree of experimentation. As well as their excellent songwriting ability, the band's use of piano and string instruments mark them out from the pack. This slick demo should win plenty of people over (****).

- Big Cheese Magazine

.look out for this band, their new stuff sounds excellent.

- Punknews

.melodic, racing and with bedroom poetry lyricism that wouldn't shame the Ataris, ODE have passion, enthusiasm and energy to spare.

- Kerrang!

.One Day Elliott are real tunesmiths, playing quality rock that creates a frantic mosh pit. Every song they play has hit written all over it. These guys really are very good.

- Neon Promotions

.with great guitars, some awesome drumbeats, killer bass lines and truly amazing vocals, the whole CD ( Rule Number One) is well written with no signs of weakness.

- Alt:uk

.These guys were awesome. They dipped into various genres and were accomplished at each.

- Nothants Herald and Post

.Four piece One Day Elliot really deliver a great performance tonight - damn good choruses, and memorable guitar hooks, these boys prove that they really know how to play a live show - Awesome!
