One Brick Down is Jon Vendetti (vocals), Steve Viola (guitar), Andrew Haffer (bass), Miguel Castro (percussion), and Cory Schamble (drums, percussion, rhythm vocals).
Since the beginning of 2006, One Brick Down's main goal has always been to make honest, heavy, and unique music. Inspired by bands in genres across the musical spectrum, the band fuses sounds of both metal/hardcore/punk with world percussion and exotic instruments (oud, sitar, etc.), creating a crushing sound all its own.
"We are trying to create something that's unique by incorporating the exotic instruments, percussion, etc. with the modern metal/hardcore styles of today. It creates more options for us when we write, and it adds another aspect to the brutal, agressive sound."- Jon Vendetti (Singer).
They've shared the stage with some of there favorite bands including HATEBREED, GOD FORBID, EVERGREEN TERRACE, THE ACACIA STRAIN, TERROR, SWORN ENEMY, BIOHAZARD, LIFE OF AGONY, CHIMAIRA, SIX FEET UNDER, CARNIFEX, E-TOWN CONCRETE; the list goes on and on.
In 2008, the band released its first full-length album, "TRIBALCORE LEADER". The record certainly created a buzz, being put into heavy rotation on SIRIUS|XM's LIQUID METAL and hitting #1 on 89.5FM WSOU radio charts. With awesome fan support nationwide, One Brick Down continue look toward the future. In early 2011, the band will enter FrightBox Recordings to record its second full-length album, with plans for a 2011 release.
