One-2 is Armenian, born in Iran on October 4th, 1985. He moved out of the country at an early age, due to the revolutions in the capital city, Theran. Taking refuge in Europe, his family had hopes of one day moving to the land of opportunity, the United States.
In late 1991, at the age of 6 he lost his father in a car accident. So ultimately, One-2 was raised by a single mother. As a shorty he had it rough and experienced alot of domestic problems throughout his childhood.
Determined to leave bad memories behind and start a new beginning, his mother finally fufilled his father's wish and moved their family to America in 1999.
By the time One-2 enrolled in High school, he was already in love with rap and hiphop as a culture, but it wasnt until the 10th grade where he decided to take a stab at rapping himself. It started off as a hobby, cyphering in hallways, performing at school shows. He was heavily involved in the underground circuit joining forces with other local hiphop acts. Unfortunately, poor grades and constantly in trouble with the law resulted in him eventually dropping out of school and further strenghten his desire to pursue being a rap artist as his career.
In 2005, One-2 released his first mixtape, cleverly titled "The High School Drop Out". Without any major promotion, the mixtape created an enormous buzz, giving One-2 global recognition and local respect.
With label mates such as Crooked I, Big Syke, K'nocturnal and Jayo Felony, One-2 is the underdog of Treacherous. In late 2006, he released the follow up to his first mixtape, entitled "New Day, New Money". In 2009, he dropped Mixtape Vol. 3, a modern day soundtrack to the streets named "UNO", hosted by Cali Untouchable Dj's September 7th & Dj Warrior. Later in the year, as a treat to his devoted fans, One-2 released his 4th Mixtape, a collection of old and new songs that had previously been leaked. The Mixtape had a nice blend of various songs and freestyles One-2 had recorded thruout the course of his career. It was distributed digitally entitled "Mixtape Vol. 4: The Leak", and is currently available for online download along with all his other Mixtapes. A double disc EP called "History & Destiny" is set to come out in 2010, along with Kabob & Vodka, a mixtape with Power106 Dj Vick-One. At a young age, One-2 has a promising future ahead of him. Along with his close friends and fellow MC's Aryn; who raps in French being raised in Paris, France, and Charon; who raps in German, raised in Frankfurt, Germany, they started an international Hip Hop group and movement called XPAND. A multi-cultural Hip Hip collective blending different languages in one unified crew, creating a unique and distinctive sound. XPAND is set out to be the first and most successful international Hip Hop organization to date. With visions to one day launch their own record company, managing and releasing music from various acts rapping in their own language in their own country, all while representing a common crew, the worlds first and only Hip Hop empire, the XPAND movement. Even thou having released many songs together, a first official XPAND project is currently being discussed to go into production. Regardless of the obstacles that try to hinder him, One-2, the child of Armenian heritage who was born in Iran, raised in Europe and discovered rap in the United States has his mind set. Take over the industry, give birth to a new era and be one of the greatest at what he does. EVER!
