OLGA is an electro acoustic pop band where the "song" is the predominant feature but which doesn't prevent them from creating disquietingly beautiful "soundscapes" and experimental dalliances, formed in 2003 by Roger Delahaye (lyrics, programming and guitars) and Flor Zavadivker (vocals and keyboards). By the end of 2003, the duo edits a cd-rom entitled Mantenimiento, which includes eleven instrumental/ electronic tracks close to the traditional "song format", but with absence of vocals.
In 2004, their track Flora y Fauna is featured in the compilation album Electronic Songs II, released by the local independent record label Indice Virgen.
In 2006, they were invited by the French label Beaubrun – managed by the acknowledged artist Gilles Weinzaepflen, a.k.a TOOG – to participate in the mixtape I love machine, together with musicians from France, England and Canada, amongst other countries. In the year 2007, Indice Virgen releases Flora and Fauna, the duo's debut album, where introspective voices, folk guitars, synthetic sounds, toy instruments and everyday objects coexist to knit a timbric tapestry in which lyrics that vary between rural and existential happenings, ironic situations and extreme melancholy, and electronic arrangements prevail.
In October 2007 - invited by the Chilean record label Neurotyka - they travel to Santiago de Chile and Valparaíso to present their debut album. In March 2008, Flora and Fauna is edited by Tokio based label P- Vine Records.
Olga also appeared in several international compilations such as: Zona de Obras (Spain, 2007), Neurotyka Sampler (Chile, 2007) and Cookie Scene (Japan, 2008).
Throughout the current year, they have been offering local shows, and they are now working on the recording of their second album to be released in 2010.
