Second Soul

Second Soul is technically profienct, modern hard rock by seasoned musicians. The story of the band traces back to guitarist Troy Stetina's friendship with Mark Tremonti (Alter Bridge/Creed). Through his best-selling rock guitar methods, Stetina unknowingly inspired a young Mark Tremonti before he became one of the world's most successful guitarists. After the two met, Troy began coaching Mark personally on lead guitar, and Mark, in turn, inspired Troy to once again form a band and helped Troy with arrangements.

The result is unveiled in the new Second Soul album "Beyond the Infinite." Mark also plays a guest spot on the new record and the two hope to tour together when possible.

Second Soul also features three Madison-area musicians, vocalist Scott Yanke, drummer Adam Maltby, and second guitarist Cory Scheider formerly of Luna Mortis (Century Media Records). In addition to Second Soul, Cory and Adam also join forces in the Madison-based death metal band, Casket Robbery. The Second Soul lineup is completed by bassist Chad Novell, who also currently plays with Milwaukee area prog-rock band Fibonacci Sequence.
