Marco Rò

Marco nasce artisticamente come batterista. Inizia a suonare a 15 anni e a 20 affianca gli studi di jazz drumming alla partecipazione nel coro della Ciac School of Music di Roma. Nel 2003 pubblica l'EP "Margot", in cui collabora agli arrangiamenti, è batterista e coautore dei brani. Il brano "Veleno", tratto dal disco, vince il Premio della Critica al Blue Note Festival di Roma. La passione per il canto lo porta però a intraprendere un percorso artistico differente, che lo vede sul palco come vocalist dei "Clyde", con i quali pubblica "Senza Controllo" (Videoradio Ed. Musicali - 2004). L'uscita del disco è accompagnata dal videoclip "I mostri che ho dentro di me". Ma è con lo scioglimento della band che nasce il suo progetto cantautoriale. Tra le numerose collaborazioni artistiche, da segnalare quelle con il M° Fabrizio Palma, Rossella Ruini e Claudia Arvati (Roman Academy). E' finalista nazionale SanremoLab 2007 con il brano "Ho fretta". Ha inoltre partecipato come cantante e arrangiatore nella prima e seconda serie de "La Fabbrica della Musica", format tv di Rai Doc Futura. Finalista nazionale 59° Festival di Sanremo - Sezione Web con il brano "Un Mondo digitale".
Marco Rò began his musical career playing drums at the age of fifteen. Five years later he continued onto studying the jazz drums while singing for the choir of the Ciac School Music in Rome. In 2003 Marco released his first Mini LP Margot as drummer and partner in composing and music arrangements. The song Veleno won the critic award at the Blue Note Music Festival in Rome. His passion for singing lead him in a different direction and he became the lead singer for the band Clyde. With Clyde he released the album Senza Controllo (Videoradio Ed. Musicali - 2004). The album came out with the video clip for the song I Mostri che ho dentro di me. After the band's breakup, Marco began a solo career. The main music collaborations were with Fabrizio Palma, Rossella Ruini and Claudia Arvati (from the Roman Accademy). In 2007 he was one of the finalists at the Italian Singing Competition. He also took part in the second series of the italian Rai television show called La Fabbrica della Musica (The Music Factory) where he sang and arranged music. In 2009 he was chosen as a finalist for the 59th Sanremo Music Festival online competition with the Italian version of his song Un Mondo Digitale (Digital World).
