Born in Rabat on 1980, Younes Sahmi (DJ Green) has always been interested in music. His first incursion into the professional DJ's world started while working in private gigs in his hometown.
His musical evolution went through different styles, from deep house to minimal continuing to tribal and progressive house, until finally getting to house and all its variations. This is how DJ Green has established himself as one of the most innovative and respectable DJ's in his natal country. This exceptional talent explains why DJ Green is considered as one of the best Moroccan DJ's.
After many gigs in different clubs (Ce-on, Ice Bar, Platinium, Red House, Harold's…), DJ Green became resident at Nirvana Club – Skhirat before moving to Amnesia – Rabat with his mate DJ HAK'X gaining recognition in the Moroccan House Scene. He shared the DJ booth with some of the most renowned House Scene DJs like: MARK KNIGHT, ATFC, JAVA, D-FORMATION, D.O.N.S, IVAN PICA, DAVID PENN, LUKE FAIR, SERGIO FERNANDEZ …
2008 was also important for DJ Green when he joined the "Underground Collective DJs" crew, a unique concept which meets the best DJ's of the Moroccan electronic scene for live amazing performances.
