CandyShop have opened for business! This sassy foursome is a pick and mix of Rebecca, Katrina, Fallon and Cherie. CandyShop are not manufactured, not auditioned, not put together. There are no artificial additives in this band only killer beats and visual delights



With cheeky lyrics and high velocity dance moves, CandyShop bring back the visual sensations that makes audiences jump out of their seats with excitement. They have that kind of cheekiness that makes you just want to let go. From the UK to Ghana, via Australia to Ireland, then back to China, this pop collective fizzes and sparks like the great unadulterated girl groups of the past.



Like the greatest of their forebearers the Spice Girls, the CandyShop girls have that oozing attitude of femininity, with the sexiness of the PussyCat Dolls and the stage spectacle of Britney Spears. It's no coincidence that the girls are professionally trained dancers.



Rebecca, lead singer, is the self proclaimed 'diva' of the group and is no stranger to the lime light. Born in Ghana to an actress mother, she has always had a step in her toe! Having studied at the McAlpine dance school, Rebecca has cast her hand to modelling, acting and as a songwriter, her appetite for a challenge is dazzling. Katrina, the cheeky Candy of the group, is also no stranger to the stage! Having worked professionally in a variety of roles and productions including Les Miserables



and with the Royal Shakespeare Company, she has also worked extensively in the world of commercial dance, with artists including Kylie and Kanye West. There is no mistaking, Fallon, the third member of CandyShop. Liverpudlian born, she brings the madness to the group with her insatiable laugh and huge grin. Having worked for the world famous Moulin Rouge nightclub in Paris through to modelling at Paris Fashion Week, her passion for performing has taken her all over the globe, from Dubai to Tokyo.



Cherie, the final quarter of the CandyShop assortment, brings the sophistication and chill to the group. Originally from the sunny land down under, Sydney, Australia, Cherie has trained in pretty much all areas of performing arts. Having been a dancer for Take That, through to appearing in Fame The Musical Cherie completes the CandyShop quartet.



Quietly preparing their onslaught, the girls have been making waves via their MySpace, creating a real buzz within the pop community. Taking their time to prepare their sonic adventure, early material coming from HQ shows a deliciously addictive sensibility. The girls are not just performers but the CandyShop style of fun and glamour looks set to be one of 2009s great moments.
