NYMFO ( Commercial Suicide, C.I.A. Records, AMSTERDAM )
NYMFO took his name out of the dictionary of one’s daughter when he was 15. It's an easy name to remember, and it just sounds very wrong in a giggity giggity way.
Since fifteen years of deejaying NYMFO gradually yielded a firm reputation for himself (Best Dutch Drum and Bass DJ in 2005/2007). NYMFO actively makes crowds poor out their pheromones on his sets in almost every continent. Large numbers of social network friends enjoy his quirky sense of humor on daily life, give him props and tell on his mother.
A modest laptop hooked to a 22” monitor, Mackies HR824 speakers, a dusty M-audio keyboard, a pair of professional ears, lot’s of coffee and warm slippers inspired NYMFO to start working as a producer too. Since six years major labels like Andy C’s RAM Records, Critical Recordings, Shogun Limited and Commercial Suicide have picked up his production output. More importantly his tunes receive high demand by established artists and deejays worldwide.
Moving from crazy Eindhoven to the great capital Amsterdam perhaps added to NYMFO’s story of success. He is a resident at THE FIRM in the legendary Paradiso, peacefully lives and works in his apartment and says no to drugs. His last words before he dies will be: REWIND!!!
