BIOGRAPHY

Born and Raised in Shreveport, LA, Nunu Baby grew amongst many other talented artists. At 14, started his career rapping on mixtapes that him and long time friend Checkmate J, started doing in High School. They were the first teenagers at the school with cd burners, so soon the mixtapes became the hottest thing at school. After seeing how popular it got with the mixtape scene they started to take it more seriously. Soon a friend who saw talent in Nunu, introduced him to his cousin who also recorded (Wild Yella). From jump Nunu and Wild Yella started making hits alongside the other members of the group that formed "Golden Boys". The group made several hit songs that took over the city (Bomb First, On my mama, Golden Boys) just to name a few.



Nunu departed from the group and later hooked back up with his homeboys to start Checkmate Ent. The group hooked up with Wild Yella and made the song "GO LIVE" which took over the club scene in 2005. Nunu Baby moved to ATL then Dallas, TX where he picked back up on his music. He dropped a mixtape called "Straight Live Vol 1" which all people say is a classic. Now he is currently working on his Independent Studio Album "Jigg Music" which includes singles, Ring Around & Google Me. Album Preview is available now on all major MP3 websites. "ITUNES also"

Where did you get Nunu Baby from?



Nunu was given to me by my mother's friend when i was born, the ladies in Louisiana that i dated added the baby at the end and when my home boys got hold to it they started sayin it to fuck with me and it stuck I mean come on, how many dudes do a good job and get called baby lol
