NUMCHUCK is Afroman Skateboards Co-Owners, Sean Murphy and Jonny Day; Pro Skaters, Collin Pulsipher, Angus McDonald and Forrest Theobald and Dead Man's Choir frontman Kevin Joseph.

In early 2003 with Sean on Guitar and lead vocals, Angus on Bass and Collin on Drums, NUMCHUCK was formed and began playing shows at local dive bars. They soon added Jonny on Harmonica, Kevin Joseph on Lead Guitar, Forrest as the Go-Go Dancer, and replaced Angus with Everett on bass.

NUMCHUCK has that classic Rock & Roll sound with aggresive live shows which are commonly compared to those in the 70's New York City Punk Scene such as the New York Dolls and the Dead Boys. They continue playing shows drawing bigger and bigger crowds at better venues including a sold out show at the Roxy on Sunset.

NUMCHUCK has released a 5 song album which includes the hit song "Get In The Van" as heard in the Horror Film "Chupacabra". They've also been featured in many magazine and newspaper publications, most notably, a spotlight in Flaunt Magazine and LA Time's 'Pick of the Week' for their May 24th show at the Roxy. Napster has tagged NUMCHUCK as being "L.A's Sexiest Rock and Roll Band". They've also been featured playing live for Discovery Channel's "Biker Build-off" in February 2005.

NUMCHUCK has a huge built-in Fan Base through the popularity of Afroman Skateboards and always makes a strong statement wearing customized pieces from the high-end fashion line ELMER AVE.
