NUCLEAR SHADOW

Nuclear Shadow was born in a hostile reality for metal music that is Riccione, homeland of mundane and disco life of Adriatic Coast. The original line up, created in 2004, began it all just for fun and believing in the chance to realize their own songs in a personal style, therefore in their seven tracks the band has grown up walking a path of an undefined genre in perpetual evolution. At the moment Nuclear Shadow’s line up has found a stability after the entry of the new two guitarists. With this line up they have received a good feedback in the locale metal scene. Nuclear Shadow are: Nazario Papa: voice, Davide Lucrezio: drums, Luca Dionigi: bass guitar, Manuel Monteiro Mancini: Guitar, Lanzoni Alex: Guitar. After the recordings of the studiodemo named "Global War", realized in a middle audio quality, a live demo consisting of seven tracks has been realized. During the months October/November 2006 they record at "Fear Studio" in Ravenna their first full legth album called "One Last Human" made of seven tracks plus an intro. On the 9th of December they win the Boulevard Rock Megahertz Contest in Misano Adriatico (RN) at Boulevard Music Club after a great challenge with bands from Italian underground scene. The themese of Nuclear Shadow are based on the nuclear "problem", faced in an impotent way, which has modified so deeply people lives and their politics. A shadow, an endemical sickness ready to blow up in every moment, an explosion which ends people lives as long as their personal stories. A return to a primordial age and implicitally, the erasure of human history. Lyrics plunges in chaotic atmospheres, full of interruptions, apparent contradictions which find their own rule in the global concept, this might not be liked by the listener but it’s through the interruptions that Nuclear Shadow tried to create an introspective silence that could describe the confusion of human and his society, without giving certain clues inside the tracks. Nuclear Shadow’s goal is not notoriety but just to find a way to describe a problem and to touch deeply the listeners letting them know about these theme and possibile future scenarios.
