ABOUT NOVA:



Raised in the Bronx, NY in the mid 80’s when crack was booming the blueprint of a lyrical mastermind emerged. Nova was blessed to write rhymes and have a profound stage presence before developing his own swag. Eventually notoriety from the streets and label heads such as Sony Music Group, Max Gousse and Diplomat’s, Jim Jones took place.



Nova began watching Video Music Music Box, hosted by Ralph McDaniels and this inspired him with guest appearances from KRS One and Rakim. “I couldn’t get involved I was too young,” says Nova about being anxious to move the crowd. As years passed Nova began writing his own records, performed at local clubs and got respect for his craft.



Nova has managed to make a name for his self through out the underground hip hop world as well as the music industry with appearances on B.E.T.’s “106 & Park,” numerous DVD mixtapes including SMACK and DJ Cut Master C’s “True Stories.” He has managed to follow up with a collection of mixtapes and a compilation album/DVD on Hoodlife/Costra Nostra Records. Nova is currently providing his fans with hot records and working independently on his record label with producers such as Horns and EV of Implant Productions, Csharp of Bankhouse Ent. & Skitzo Frenyc of Frenyc Ent. but is also seeking to become an artist for a major label.
