Nothing Days

Nothing Days are/were a disfunctional fusion of a two pair of sheltered children from Maitland and Seaham NSW who through the aid of youth idealism possessed an answer and philosophy behind every problem that the universe was facing outside of Port Stephens. On new years eve of 2002 brothers Jon & James unfortunately met Mat Lydon and decided to channell such cutting edge theory's through the way of a spazzy emotional rock band with the help of Mitchell Lydon (who was more than happy to put his dreams of being the next Montell Jordan on hold for a while). Since then we have managed to waste a bulk load of time and money in the process of pursuing this.

We have however managed to meet some good people who also share a common love for bands with drum & bass lines that hit you in the sternum like a paving mallet, six stringed textures riding the southerly up the river and by the time some kind of wordsmith is mind-bending you with what you want to hear, the secret landscape in the back of your minds eye has been painted. I guess we look forward to the day where we can achieve this and maybe even create that epic song you hear in your head before going to sleep at night. That will be a grouse day!
