Northern Glory
Northern Glory are a 4 piece Indie Rock and Roll band from Halifax.
The band got together in february 2005 and were all at a young age
from about 15. Now 5 years down the line, they still have that young
age and are making headlining appearances in some of the UK's top
venues, such as; Liverpool O2 Academy, The Studio, Cavern Club
[Liverpool] Manchester Academy 3, Leeds Rios, Fibbers,
The Victoria Theatre, The Boardwalk, Moho, Joes Well,
The Tunnel and many more.
Northern Glory have supported a number of big names throughout
their campaign. Some of these include; Happy Mondays bassist
Paul Ryder and Happy Mondays' Bez, Sham 69, Dodgy, The Farm,
and The Vortex [Bonehead's (Oasis) new band]. Northern Glory
now support The Vortex quite often and have formed a friendship
with Bonehead who quotes "Northern Glory, Top Band, Shit Arm
Wrestlers, they blew me away!"
Northern Glory are currently gigging all over the north of the UK
in cities such as York, Leeds, Liverpool and Manchester and are recording their new EP, "Not A Care In The World"
