Soprano, alto, baritone, sopranino saxophonist and composer. Born in Umeå, 1965.
Began in 1980 with the jazz rock group Cabazz and has since worked with a number
of different groups, artists and projects within jazz, fusion and folk music.
Some examples are: Mynta, Elise Einarsdotter Ensemble, Encore, Enteli, Nordan,
Jonas Knutsson Band, Triptyk, Stockholm Folk Big Band, Världsorkestern, Bertrand
Renaudins Larbre Voyage (France) and Berger Knutsson Spering.
Jonas is organiser, composer and arranger for the group
Horn Please and Jonas Knutsson Quartet. He is also in the project "Annanya" were musicians from Sweden and Bengali meet. His latest CD productions are:
