At Festival Sudoeste performing for 10,000 people!!



This Portuguese soundsystem is, despite of its youngness (4 years in the sound business), one of the most promising sounds in Europe. Since 2005, they’ve performed in hundreds of parties, festivals and live acts. Among those acts, it’s important to refer a few that put No Joke Sound as number one sound in Portugal. They’ve preformed for two consecutives times in the biggest Portuguese Festival (Suodoeste) for 10,000 people and also in the Oeiras Jam Festival which gathered 15,000 at the beach. No Joke Sound backed up the upcoming artist Richie Campbell in his Germany tour ’08 and all other live acts he performed. In April 2008 they’ve won the first Portuguese Soundclash putting to pen their ambition for bigger flights. Since the beginning No Joke focuses on collecting rare vinyl editions and voicing original dubplates for bashment or soundclash. They also released several mixtapes from the roots rockers to the gangsta dancehall.
