Noisex Discography

1990 - 1992: The Beginning
Raoul Rotation began his musical career with t:u:t:p (the unbelievable t.v. preacher). Though t:u:t:p was more experimental and avant-garde, this project laid the foundation for Noisex. After two years, the name was changed to Noisex and Raoul began focusing on more structured and rhythmic music.

1996: Out of Order
In January of 1996, the world saw the release of Out of Order. This hard to find album is the resulting effort between Noisex's Raoul Rotation and :wumpscut:'s Rudy Ratzinger. Out of Order was released on Mental Ulcer Forges, a division of Beton Kopf Media.

1997: Over and Out
The first Anti-Zen release! Four hundred days after Out of Order was released, Raoul unleashed Over and Out. All tracks were written by Raoul Rotation. Released in a single CD and a CD digipak with a 7" single on Anti-Zen.

1997: [DKF / Noisex] Schmerzgrenze
Limited edition metal-box version of 50 copies.
Contains:
1. DKF "Schmerzgrenze" LP (denoted in tracklisting as LP Side A/Side B)
2. DKF "Schmerzgrenze" picture disc 7" (denoted in tracklisting as 7 Side A/Side B)
3. Noisex "Out Of Order" CD (denoted in tracklisting as CD)
4. DKF "Übertragung" exclusive transparent vinyl 7" (denoted in tracklisting as 7 Side C/Side D)
As well as a DKF t-shirt, poster, and sticker.

1998: Ignarrogance
Noisex's power noise juggernaut, the two CD Ignarrogance is considered by many to be a power noise masterpiece. Possibly the harshest album ever released by Noisex, Ignarrogance encompasses all conceivable sounds of power noise, rhythmic noise, noise, industrial and EBM [to name a few]. The standard Ignarrogance release came with an 8 page booklet while the special packaging included a poster, metal pin, sticker, postcard, black Noisex condom and the 7" vinyl EP The Masked Face.

1999: Rotation U.S.A

Limited to 505 copies, Rotation U.S.A was originally an exclusive U.S release.

2000: 1920.00
Controversial, enigmatic, beautiful; often those three words are thrown into any description of 1920.00. Many Noisex fans felt this album was too soft to be released under the Noisex mantra. Additional complaints stated that 1920.00 traveled too deeply into EBM territory while ignoring any rhythmic or power noise structures that made Noisex famous. Complaints notwithstanding, 1920.00 stood the test of time and is often used as an introductory album for new Noisex fans. 1920.00 was the result of a collaboration between Raoul Rotation and Phil Philter. Released on Anti-Zen's little brother label, Flatline.

2000: 2870.00 Box Set
This box set has gray/black cardboard inside a bubblewrap bag, both stamped with a Noisex sticker. 2870.00 contains the 1920.00 cd, the 950.00 cd [a compilation of early, unreleased Noisex material], a Noisex pin and a few postcards.

2000: Serious Killer
Short but sweet, Serious Killer shied away from the minimalistic style of 1920.00. Serious Killer embraced a more violence and aggressive musical style but unlike the crushing rhythms of earlier Noisex releases, Serious Killer had a more organic feel to it. This was achieved by combining the melodic styles of 1920.00 with the pummeling percussion and rhythmic noise of earlier Noisex material while simultaneously tossing in elements of trance, break beats and speedcore.

2002: Groupieshock
While a few Noisex fans of the 1920.00 era were disappointed with Groupieshock, others were delighted. Groupieshock follows along the lines of Serious Killer; it successfully, seamlessly and aggressively combines EBM with power noise, elektro industrial and drum and bass. Vocals and samples, like Serious Killers, complements the rhythms while not distracting the listener from them. Released on Flatline.

2003: Groupieshock Versions
Harsh, noisey and crunchy, the limited edition Groupieshock Versions contains exclusive remixes from the Groupieshock album.

2003: Magnetom Vision EP
Produced for the [supposedly] final tour of Noisex, Magnetom Vision EP was limited to only 500 copies. Comes packed with a Magnetom Vision poster, postcards, Noisex profile and discography and a Noisex logo sticker. Magnetom Vision contains the famous [and Philadelphia, PA beloved] dance floor hit Jaegerdance (Are You Drunk Enough Yet).
