Noiseland is an all original modern Hard Rock / Alternative band that first formed in 2003. Noiseland is a Rock band with many diverse influences and styles ranging from dark gritty anti-ballads, bombastic grooves, driving riffs and melodic acoustic Blues based Rock.

Noiseland Bio:

In early 2003, Johnny Karnay and Rob Shimonski met up to form Noiseland. After a few auditions, singer Joe Santiago was found and the band enlisted drummer Rich Romanek to handle the drums. In late 2003, Joe moved away to another state and the band had to undergo new singer auditions. In early 2004, singer Tripp Morena was slated for the task. In mid-2004, Noiseland entered the studio to record their first effort titled 'Fear', a 3 song EP which was met with high acclaim. After less than a year, Tripp left the band to pursue other musical interests and disillusioned by a missing singer, Rich quit as well.

In the beginning of 2004, a new chapter for Noiseland begun. First finding 2nd guitarist Ross Raniere, and a few months later, filling out the band with drummer Brian McGovern and vocalist CJ Hrabstock.

Finding mutual interests in writing and playing, the band started to write new material, gig and in early 2005, entered the studio to record their follow-up EP titled, 'Screaming at the Sky'. The band continued to gig and recorded their first Noiseland video. Since Brian and CJ lived in CT and the rest of the band lived in NY, weekly rehearsals, gigs and recordings forced Noiseland to disband in early 2006.

In 2006, Ross, Rob and Johnny decided to continue on with Noiseland and prepared to record their next effort titled, 'Stealing from our Heroes' in mid-2006. This was the bands first LP and was extremely unique because Ross stepped up to handle the vocal duties, while Rob stepped up to handle the drums as well as the bass allowing their first full length to be recorded as a three-piece.

After recording the album, the band enlisted the help of friend and drummer Eric Adams (Cher, Aerosmith) to handle live drumming so Noiseland could gig again. The band finished up a series of gigs to include a set of shows at CBGB's in NY one month before the club officially closed its doors for good. In 2007, Noiseland (Ross, Johnny, Rob and Eric) recorded a new EP titled 'Noiseland Acoustic', which featured a handful of their best songs (and some new ones) unplugged.

In 2008, the band created 'The SuperPatriots', a side project which was the alter-ego of Noiseland, and featured a new vocalist, Craig Jordan. After recording a 6 song EP titled, 'Black Picket Fences', the band decided to move back to writing and recording new work for Noiseland. In 2009, Ross, Johnny and Rob rebuilt Noiseland and once again started to put together new songs and get ready for a follow-up LP self-titled 'Noiseland'. During this time, Rob and Johnny wrote multiple books as published authors featuring the work of Noiseland for worldwide release.

Due to inactivity, in 2010, the band decided to call it quits for good and Ross, Johnny and Rob moved on to new projects. Stay tuned as this site will be updated with those projects as they firm up. Thank you all for your support throughout the past decade, we appreciate all of our fans, support and friends we have met along the way. Cheers! -Ross, Johnny and Rob
