Get embed code: Noelle • remarkable Pop songwriting ability • a powerful, angelic voice • 6 feet of sculpted beauty • a smile that feels like a hug • eyes that are easy to get lost in • an amazing attitude and work ethic Born in Nebraska : Raised in Las Vegas : College in Virginia : Music in L.A. By second grade her voice had her standing robe-to-robe with the adults in the Catholic Church choir. Touted as both the Beauty and the Beast, Noelle has burst onto the scene and commanded the attention of the music world with her stunning looks and a fierce writing style that has insiders buzzing about her lyrical content. But what does it take to breakthrough in an industry that is known as much for destroying dreams as it is for making them come true? In Noelle’s case, the 6-foot songstress found that the work ethic she developed on her way to becoming a high school basketball All–American would not only benefit her during her years as an Old Dominion University Lady Monarch but in the music industry as well. With her team finishing first runner-up in the NCAA Women’s Basketball Championship, she learned what it took to perform under pressure. She graduated from Old Dominion majoring in human services and counseling which allowed her to study people, which ultimately helps her writing connect with others. After college, Noelle returned to Las Vegas and soon found herself singing six nights a week in world-renowned hotels and casinos including The Luxor and The Excalibur. However, as bright and shiny as Vegas was, she knew L.A. glimmered like no other, and she wanted to shine. One of Noelle's first breaks came during a company basketball game while working at a major film studio. One of the execs noticed the musical notes tattoo that danced on her arm. After they found out she was a musician, Noelle was convinced to hand her CD to the music department. This would lead to “Like That,” Noelle’s Felli Fel-(Power 106 FM, So So Def/Island)-produced single featuring Pitbull, being featured in the 2006 film, Employee of the Month, which starred Dane Cook and Jessica Simpson. The music community embraced Noelle, as she was inundated with an endless string of requests for her to pen song after song for the industry’s hottest producers. From up-and-coming names such as Dem Jointz, Phillip Scott Tha 3rd (Tamia, En Vogue) and J-Hen (G–Unit) to West Coast sensation Fredwreck (Snoop Dogg, Eminem, 50 Cent, Stanley Clarke), Noelle was in high demand. She would go on to write for artists on Dr. Dre's Aftermath imprint along with composing original music for the sitcom, "Eve." Noelle became notorious for remixing popular Hip Hop records. Her “shemixes” would garner major airplay in Los Angeles as well as other major markets. Her creative concepts and honest lyrics resulted in collaborations with artists such as Mike Jones (Warner Bros), J.R. (Hidden Beach) and others. Now, Noelle is more sought after than ever, and her recently Web-released, high-powered single, “DO IT!” is gaining steam nationwide, even obtaining Top 40 radio play with zero promotion. The line between R&B and Pop continues to blur. All this does is create an even friendlier climate for Noelle to navigate through. "I'm just aggressive lyrically. . I'm going to write what really needs to be said. I don't believe in being corny. Sometimes it's cool, but I like to be clever." More than anything, Noelle wants to uplift women. . Make them feel sexy. . Give them some swag(ger). Secondly, she wants people to know who she really is, which is why she champions her writing ability. With amazing songwriters penning hits for major artists, it's easy to feel disconnected from an artist. "I write all my material. I don't have to start out this flower, and blossom into something else. I'm a grown woman now. So, how I come out, I can talk about pretty much anything I want, and it's going to be coming from personal experience. . I am the music. I'm not a puppet. I'm not mechanical. Nobody developed me." Noelle is gearing up for the release of her debut album, It's Personal, which will be released soon on Easy Mo Bee Records and will feature production by upcoming West Coast soundsmith, Dem Jointz and the legendary Easy Mo Bee himself (Alicia Keys, Miles Davis, Tupac). With the most unique writing style in music and an unmatched sense of elegance, Noelle has put the industry on notice that she is here to stay! She will be a Pop music star. She will definitely “DO IT!”
