のあのわ / noanowa

チェロを奏で歌うボーカルYukkoを中心に、ドラマチックで、せつなくて、とびきりPOPな世界を繰り広げる5人組。2007年に現在のメンバーとなり本格的な活動をスタート。Yukkoの際立つボーカルのキャラクターと、バンドが持つ独自の世界観が俄然魅力的。
2009年2月、Album『ゆめの在りか』でメジャーデビューし、いきなり表題曲がラジオ(FM/AM)32局でパワープレイを獲得。以降、リリースする作品は各メディアで新人としては破格の扱いで取り上げられる。また、デビューイヤーから異例の本数の夏フェスに出演。各地のイベントで、のあのわの音楽性は注目を浴びる。ミュージシャン、クリエイター等からの支持も厚く、キマグレン、HOME MADE 家族、マーティ・フリードマンや、宅間孝行(東京セレソンDX)、Wエンジンなど、エンターテイメント界の著名人達と作品やライブ、舞台等での交流がある。
2010年8月に2nd full Album『MAGICAL CIRCUS』をリリース。このアルバムをひっさげてのTOUR「MAGICAL CIRCUS TOUR 2010」は各地で大成功。東京キネマ倶楽部での最終公演はSOLD OUTとなった。
そして2011年、蒼井優がイメージキャラクターをつとめる資生堂アネッサのCMソングに、新曲『Have a Good Day！』が決定。街で、メディアで、“のあのわ”を目にする機会が一気に増えそうだ。

“Noanowa” is the band consisted of five members. One of the members, Yukko plays the cello and sings at the same time. She is a gifted singer and creates a unique world of her own with her dramatic and emotional sound with her cello. Noanowa is the only band that reminds people of “Overwhelming Jubilation”.
Yukko (Voal & Cello) and her high school mate at the time, Gou (Guitar) got together to form the original band.
In 2003, Nakame (Base) joined the band. He was in the music club that Gou belonged to in the University.
In 2005, Riku Arayama (keyboard) joined the band through web recruitment.
At the same time, Yukko, who wanted to add a new essence to the band, purchased a Cello, the instrument that she always wanted, and introduced it to the band (it seemed that she just wanted to buy a huge instrument).　From this point, their live performances went into higher gear.
In 2007, Gou invited his neighbor, Shunta Honma (Drum) into the band to form the current “Noanowa”.



In February 2009, Noanowa made its major debut with the music album called “Yumeno Arika” (translated as Where the dreams are).
The song “Yumeno Arika” (also the album titled) was played repeatedly by 32 radio stations (FM/AM). In August, they released the 1st single “Loop Loop” and the 2nd album “SPECTACLE” in September.
They played at a number of summer festivals and captured many fans with their overwhelming performances.
In November, they released their 2nd single “Sweet Sweet”. Their 3rd single “Gradation” is scheduled to be released on the 2nd of June, 2010.
We look forward to their further success this year.
