Hailing from the Burning South of Germany, NME.MINE (pronounced ENEMY MINE) consist of ex-members of hardcore underdogs Brothers Justice (Prawda Records) and Silent Green. After a few years of playing on the same stages and at the same time, both bands being fed up with the self appointed scene police, ½ of both bands decided to hook up and start a completely new band, more focused on good song material without compromise, rather than just giving the kids what they expected to hear.
That day was the birth of NME.MINE. and they havent looked back since.
2003 - 2008 saw NME.MINE sharing stages and touring with the likes of Millencollin, Turbonegro, Caliban, Days in Grief ,Thursday, Funeral For a Friend, Seether, Ill Nino, Hed PE, Waterdown, The Maple Room to name a few. Festival appearances at the Southside Festival, as well as signing with Cologne based indie Label: Eat The Beat, later Roadrunner Records and releasing their debut burner of an EP " . These Dreams Of Happy Endings". The 8 Track EP, which quickly became an Underground success, brought NME.MINE to the forefront of the few bands that have the ability to not only compete with their German brethren, but also one of the few that can turn it up a notch and compete with International Acts.
After the departure of their second guitarist, NME.MINE went into the practice room as a four piece, to write songs for what would become debut album "Life Without Water"in 2005. The album, produced by Siggi Bemm (Days In Grief, Philip Boa, Caliban, The Gathering.), shows that not only are the songs better produced, bringing out a rawness that NME.MINE never had before, but song writing that has matured- giving NME.MINE not only underground appeal, but mainstream potential as well.
From the opener and first single "On A Day Like This", to new burners like "The End Of Prayer" and "Save Me" - to mosh pit movers like "Sold Out Belief" and "The Blood King"- to the new renditions of "Out Of Envy" and "Unlove"- NME.MINE have positioned themselves at the forefront of German Rock Music, without caring about what is considered in or by trying to play by any Labels or Standards.
After years of touring NME.MINE decided to calm down for a while just to figure out
the way of continuing as a band and to set focus on their private lives and careers.
However - they never stopped working on new material and it seems that these 4 guys are back in 2010 with a new killer record.
