I am 24 years old from Kiriat Ono, Israel. Graduated Berklee College of Music on a full scholarship. I started playing the trumpet at the age of 8 at the Kiriat Ono conservatory. At the age of 11 I was playing in the youth and elder classical orchestras and toured to Europe several times, performing solos with the orchestras. I graduated the Thelma Yellin High School for the Arts, where I started my Jazz education. At Berklee I studied with amazing teachers such as Tiger Okoshi, Oscar Stagnaro, Joe Lovano, Hal Crook, Greg Hopkins and Phil Wilson. I was a member of the Berklee Concert Jazz Orchestra, Rainbow Big Band & All-Stars, Tower of Power Ensemble and more. In March '07, I attended a 4 day workshop with Paquito D'rivera which ended with a concert at Carnegie Hall NY. I have received the "Berklee College of Music Art Farmer Award". I am a member of "La Timbistica", which won the 2008 Downbeat student music award for best Jazz band and performed at the Monterey Jazz Festival, Duke Ellington Jazz Festival '08 and Heineken Jazz fest in Puerto Rico '09. I have performed at the International Association for Jazz Education, the Tel Aviv Jazz Festival, Coca Cola Music Festival '04 in Israel w/Teapacks, Hadorbanim and Maya Buskila and in '07 w/ Shai Gabso, Jerusalem Jazz Festival, Red Sea Jazz Festival, Cesaria Auditorium w/Pavlo Rosenberg & Shlomi Shabat in '08 and with the Idan Raichel Project '09. I am currently prforming with the Idan Raichel Project and the arranger of the horn section.
