There is nothing more invigorating than the sound of good music. The kind of music that you listen to and experience the singer’s emotions as if they were your own. The kind of music that makes you want to sing to the top of your lungs. And definitely the kind of music that you can listen to time and time again as if it was the first time. That is what Nikki Cooper has made a lifetime aspiration to do through her music.
From the first time Nikki was given a microphone, she knew that her purpose in life was to perform all over the world. “I can’t wait to make it and I know my time is coming. If you’re listening to this, get ready to hear something because I just want to sing my song, I’ve been waiting too, too long”, describes her emotions precisely. It is her time to shine and shine is what she is determined to do.
Having done radio intro’s for local stations to working with poet Michael J. Burt, performing with Missy Elliot’s “Road to stardom’s” Akil Dasan, winning Frostburg Idol, singing national anthems for numerous events, and becoming one of the finalists in a competition for a 3 year record deal with singer Ne-yo’s record label, Compound entertainment, Nikki Cooper has been nothing but busy working hard to get the results that she’s looking for.
But like any road there were endless struggles and setbacks presenting themselves that only a person with a true passion could endure. Born in Prince Georges County, Maryland, just minutes outside of Washington, D.C., Nikki was struggling to find a studio to record her for a price within her budget when she found Danger Room studios back in 2006. The engineer and producers came in and took her under their wings. Since then, Nikki has worked hard to produce track after track to please the musical ears of the industry as well as her MySpace fans, family, and associates.
Nikki Cooper is the next big thing, hands down and no questions about it. She is ready for the ever changing music industry and all that will come her way. Nikki Cooper is definitely not quick to back down and has no intentions to. Sit back and get ready because with the struggles she’s experienced, the drive and personality, mixed with undeniable talent, Nikki Cooper is here to stay.

How can you get famous.etc.? Can't say exactly because I'm not completely there yet, but I do know that you have to follow your heart and believe in yourself. Sounds cheesy, but If you aren't confident about your music who else will be? Exactly.lol
Do you respond to messages and requests?Yes, but only ones that don't say things like hey cutie.Can I call you sometimes? Things like that.lol. But I always welcome constructive criticism and love. Due to the amount of messages that I receive, I'm not always able to respond back in a timely manner.but I will get to you! :-D
What can we expect from Nikki? BIG THINGS! Right now, I currently teamed up with Poison Ivy, where we did an Introduction for Ill Will's Show, Sundays at 10pm on 93.9 Kiss FM (Hey Will! lol)
