Hello,
My name is Nicolas Roger.
"Roger" because of an old affair of adultery
(I'm sorry, my grandfather* was not Buck … but he was a hero too).
After having worked on arrangements, orchestrations, samples, loops, now, I have put all those things aside* to return to the fundamentals: one guitar and one voice (the chair can wait until I am 90 years old). It had always been said to me that a good song, it's a song that is able to stand alone. So, I work hard on it, knowing that's never won …

*my other granfather was armenian (Mailoff alias Mailian) but it was another story!

Salut à tous
(Tout d'abord n'y allons pas par quatre chemins : les biographies, c'est aussi ennuyeux à lire qu'à faire. La plupart d'entre nous n'a pas de biographe et nous sommes donc obligés de la faire nous-mêmes, en parlant à la troisième personne du singulier . « Il a fait ceci, il a fait cela, etc. »
Et souvent tout le monde zappe . Un peu de bonne volonté de ma part .)
Mon nom est Nicolas ROGER.
Nom donné suite à une affaire d'adultère dont le fruit fut mon grand-père*
Après avoir fait des arrangements, des ré-orchestrations, travaillé sur des samples, des boucles, aujourd'hui, j'ai tout mis de coté** pour revenir aux fondamentaux :
Une guitare et ma voix (le tabouret attendra mes 90 ans )
On m'a toujours dit qu'une bonne chanson devait pouvoir tenir
toute seule.
Je m'y atèle donc, même si ce n'est jamais gagné …

* mon autre grand-père était Arménien (Mailoff dit Mailian) mais c'est une autre histoire .
