New Town Kings

We are the New Town Kings, a 9-piece ska band from Essex, England.
During our time writing and performing as a band we have been lucky enough to play our music at an ever-increasing range of events, gigs, raves and festivals including everything from Boomtown Fair and One Love to South London squats with regular tours and European dates in between. Along the way we have been fortunate to share the same stage as hundreds of great singers and bands with the most memorable including Congo Natty, Example, The Skints, Gentlemans Dub Club, Random Hand, Dan Le Sac and we look forward a forthcoming gig with UK Reggae legend David Rodigan.
Moving into 2012 we have released our second studio album entitled 'Music of Jamaican Origin' (M.O.J.O.) in July 2011 with a forthcoming video for 'Newstand' expected any day now!
Catch us on tour in the UK with the Slackers in April.
